Period violin bow inspired by Dodd
Members of the Dodd family in England made very beautiful bows from the last decades of the 18th century well into the 19th century.
I have modified the head profile of one Dodd bow and lowered the profile of another Dodd frog to be better suited for use on violin.
The highly figured snakewood bow stick is fluted as is the rear portion of the frog.
